A video of Iggy Pop recently went viral on Twitter as he performs in front of many fans at a concert and many praised him for his energy and confidence despite his age. However, the circulating clip also raised a conversation about fans' ageism against Madonna.

Consequence reposted the 22-second video on the social media platform showing the shirtless singer laying down and rolling on stage while performing in front of the crowd.

The caption reads, "Iggy Pop, still going strong at 75."

Following this, a fan then quote-retweeted the post to call out other people about ageism and misogny, writing, "But if this was Madonna y'all would be dragging the hell out of it... hypocrites."

Many users took to the reply section to express their mixed reactions, with one fan noting that Iggy Pop looks and acts like a 75-year-old while Madonna "is trying to look 15" but she looks like an "alien."

"he's not doing anything age inappropriate he's laying on the stage ... dont get me started on madonna," they added.

Another user also noticed that people in general always has something against female pop artists who are just performing, writing, "No matter what generation, those types of people have it out for female artists. It's a weird phenomenon."
