Selena Quintanilla may have passed away decades ago, but her impact and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of her fans. For the new generation who are interested in the singer's life, there's a chance for you to see one of her most iconic outfits of all time; where can her supporters see it in person?

According to Billboard, the Mexican-American pop star's leather jacket and satin brasserie outfit that she wore at the Tejano Music Awards in San Antonio, Texas, in 1994, will be put on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History as part of their "Entertainment Nation" exhibit.

During the famed awards show, Selena performed the song "Donde Quiera Que Estés" with the Barrio Boyzz and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." That evening, the singer took home the award for female artist of the year, female entertainer of the year, and album of the year for her record "Selena Live!"

Aside from the singer's outfit, fans will also get a chance to see over 200 objects in the field of music, sports, television, theater, and film.

The fashion ensemble was personally donated by Selena's family in 1998.

According to the curatorial assistant for the "Entertainment Nation" exhibition, Ashley Mayor, the costume is currently on display on a red carpet to feature and explore the life of the "Dreaming Of You" songstress.

Selena Quintanilla Updates

Last August 26, Selena's estate released the new album "Moonchild Mixes," a compilation of original recordings that have never been heard by the public.

All ten songs were reportedly recorded by the Queen of Tejano between the ages of 13 and 16. The public can finally hear the tracks 37 years later.

Abraham Quintanilla Jr. said their family had discussed that they would maintain Selena's presence in the future through her music and legacy and this is what they exactly did in the recent release.

"I'm more than sure that the fans are going to love it because if you listen to it, it'll move you emotionally and take you back to as if Selena was recording it this morning," he said in a previous interview.
