The Disney hit took over the world by storm in the first quarter of the year, with thousands of different covers, dance TikToks, and renditions, the Lin Manuel-Miranda track is all over the world!
The ensemble song from "Encanto" peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Disney's longest-reigning chart-topper in the chart's history. Aside from this, the track sets a record for the most credited artist on a No. 1 track with six, Stephanie Beatriz, Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, and Diane Guerrero.
Since its release, the song has been covered, and performed many times, including a full live performance from the entire cast, well almost.

Channeling every character from the film perfectly, Hale made sure she enjoyed every bit of singing! Some of the comments on her performance even suggest she could actually be a singing voice for a future Disney Princess or character!

It was a shocker for everyone when the wildly-popular track would miss out on a nomination at the Academy Awards. One of Encanto's songs, "Dos Oroguitas" was instead nominated for Best Original Song. But to compensate for the public clamor for including the song at the awards ceremony, the Academy decided to include a performance of the song in the show, featuring the original voice actors.
While the performance was highly-awaited, many were disappointed when the original cast only sang a part of the song, not to mention Megan Thee Stallion's rap which many deemed unnecessary.

Everyone's ultimate dream to see the original cast perform the song live finally happened at the Hollywood Bowl performance of the hit song. Complete with the visual effects and the original costumes of the characters, it's like watching the movie come to life! Completely a surreal moment!
