Have Kanye West and Paul McCartney been going behind our backs? We certainly hope so.

A new report from Page Six states that the duo have been secretly recording "a number of tracks that could develop into an album."

Also reported:

  •  One of the songs is tentatively titled "Piss On My Grave."
  •  This particular title allegedly "surprised" West's wife, Kim Kardashian.
  •  Kanye was at McCartney's show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last week.

If the music giants are actually working together, that's huge news for fans. As previously reported, West was recently very interested in making music with McCartney, but nobody had any inkling that they were already collaborating.

"(West) has been tapping Macca up for a while about working together," a source told The Sun.

"Kanye and Paul have known each other for a long time but have become more friendly recently. There's every chance they'll head into the studio together," the source said. "Kanye really respects music legends and is still putting the finishing touches to his new album."

During a Twitter question-and-answer session last October, McCartney revealed that his most recent album purchases included Kanye and Jay-Z.

Sir Elton John has also expressed interest in working with West.

"For me, I'd have to work with someone who knows about it, like a Pharrell or a Kanye, who I respect tremendously," he told Rolling Stone earlier this year. "I'd love to do that. It's just a matter of when and where and, should I do it, the mood that I'm in. You can never tell. It's happenstance and luck, basically."

For now, it'll be a wait-and-see game for Kanye and Paul. West is busy prepping his seventh studio album, while McCartney just finished up a major leg of his American tour in San Francisco last week.
