Heads up, throwback music fans! Dolly Parton is collaborating with some of the biggest artists of the 80s decade and it would be featured in an upcoming film.

According to iHeart, the country legend is teaming up with Gloria Estefan, Cyndi Lauper, The Go-Go's Belinda Carlisle, and Blondie's Debbie Harry.

Titled "Gonna Be You," the song was written by award-winning songwriter, Diane Warren. It would be released on January 20, but fans could hear a sneak-peak posted by Carlisle on Twitter. (listen to the teaser below)

Speaking about the powerhouse collaboration, the songwriter said she wanted to write a song that celebrated the women's deep connection with each other in the upcoming movie "80s For Brady."

Since "80" was in the title, Warren got an idea and immediately thought of some of the most renowned musicians during that era.

"I'm honored to have Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan and Debbie Harry on this song!! 'Gonna Be You' is that song you want to sing along to with all your good friends!!!" she added.

According to IMdB, the comedy movie would revolve around a group of women who wanted to meet Tom Brady at the Super Bowl. It was directed by Kyle Marvin and the star-studded cast includes Sally Field, Lily Tomlin, and Rita Moreno, just to name a few.

Dolly Parton New Song With Dionne Warwick 2023

Aside from her upcoming collaboration with the 80s musicians mentioned above, Dolly Parton would also release a new song with Dionne Warwick.

Warwick recently dropped by at the "Tamron Hall Show" to discuss her collaboration with the country legend, saying she was approached by Parton and didn't think twice, saying she would do it.

"She's such a sweetheart, I know her. And then she sent me another song, the one that we're going to be doing as a duet," she said.

The gospel song is titled "Peace Like a River" and it would be released anytime this January.

Warwick is looking forward to the song being released soon as she considers it "very special" despite having other collaborators in the past.

Both musicians have been connected for years as the "That's What Friends Are For" singer is the cousin of the late legend, Whitney Houston, whose song "I Will Always Love You" was written by Parton herself.
