Madonna will be celebrating her fourth decade in the music industry this year and she released numerous chart-topping hits like "Material Girl," "Like A Virgin," and many more throughout the years. Aside from being an iconic musician, the singer also broke boundaries and made several statements through art and music.

To give the biggest treat to her fans in celebration of her new milestone, it appears that the queen of pop would be going on tour later this year and the songs that would be featured are her iconic hits.

According to The Sun, the pop star booked The O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, for a show and she's expected to release more details about the official tour dates in the coming weeks.

Sources told the outlet that Madonna is closely working with director, Jamie King, who has been in charge of her productions since the early 2000s.

Considered as first of its kind for her career, the insider said the musician is "trying something completely new" that would benefit both her new and older supporters. (via Virgin Radio UK)

In order to do this, she would feature some of her TikTok hits like "Material Girl" and "Frozen," and would mix it with her classic songs from her decades-old catalog.

"I'm just looking for interesting, fun ways to rerelease my catalog and introduce my music to a new generation," she said in a previous interview.

Throughout her career, Madonna has only been focusing on whatever her current era was, but this time, she's going back to her roots to reinvent herself again.

"That being said, it is sure to be no holds barred and suitably risqué," the source said.

The last time the pop star went on tour was in 2020 for her "Madame X" tour which ended in the same year. Her previous scheduled shows were held in theaters, but the upcoming ones would reportedly be in stadiums.

Last year, Madonna spoke to Variety and hinted at the possibility of an upcoming tour, saying, "I want to go on tour again, I'm a creature of the stage. That is my happy place."

As of this writing, the pop star or anyone from her team has not confirmed whether the ongoing tour rumors are true or not.
