Jason Derulo could possibly miss his upcoming performance at the Super Bowl LVII event, the NFL's TikTok Tailgate party, after sustaining a foot injury.

According to reports, the "Wiggle" singer was all set to headline the highly-anticipated Super Bowl event when he accidentally injured his foot, which resulted in a fracture and torn ligament.

Derulo did not require surgery, however, he's now sporting crutches that he won't be able to shake off any time soon.

Apparently, his injury happened while he was playing basketball. Derulo reportedly went up for a rebound of the ball, but upon his landing, landed on someone's foot.

Although he is trying his best to recover as soon as possible-through stem cell injections treatment-it is still unclear if the singer is fit to perform in the upcoming event, slated on Feb. 12.

Will Jason Derulo Perform at the Super Bowl?

According to Page Six, despite his injury, Derulo is doing everything he can so he won't miss the Super Bowl event.

Aside from the stem cell treatments, he is also going through physical therapy daily to improve his condition, and perhaps prepare him for his upcoming performance.

It is unclear if the 33-year-old singer will cancel last minute, but as of this writing, Derulo is confident that he will be able to make it and perform regardless of the injury and crutches.

NFL's TikTok Tailgate at the Super Bowl LVII will be headlined by Derulo and rock duo, The Black Keys.

It is the NFL's official pregame part before the actual Super Bowl event, as well as the highly-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show-which will be headlined by Rihanna this year.

The pregame celebration/concert will be held in State Farm Stadium, and the event will be live-streamed on the football league's official TikTok account.

According to the NFL website, aside from Derulo and The Black Keys, other personalities from TikTok and NFL's special guests will all be in attendance.

After being named as one of the headliners, the singer enthusiastically let his fans know just how hyped he is: "Super Bowl LVII! Can't wait to be a part of the TikTok Tailgate and put on an incredible show. It's the countdown! Let's go!"

Even The Black Keys took to social media to express their excitement: "Words can't express how honored and excited we are to have been asked by the NFL to join the Super Bowl festivities and perform at the TikTok Tailgate party."
