The world of music is still mourning the death of Burt Bacharach days after his death and to honor his legacy for his fans' delight, his final recording with another renowned musician was quietly released online; listen to the track below.

According to Variety, one of the famed composer's final songs he ever recorder before his death titled "You Can Have Her," was released in collaboration with Elvis Costello. The recent track was said to be recorded with a full orchestra last year.

Many fans were surprised with the new track as there were no announcements or any press releases by Capitol Studios; they immediately uploaded the song online just hours after the songwriter's death.

The song was initially scheduled to come out on February 10 as it serves as one of the teaser songs for the boxed set called "The Songs of Bacharach and Costello" which will be released next month.

"You Can Have Her" never had any demo recordings in the past as they only recorded the track two years ago, but its composition had been composed since the early 2000s. It was supposed to be a part of a planned Broadway musical titled "Painted From Memory" that never happened.

Aside from Bacharach and Costello, Vince Mendoza is also credited with the track as he wrote the orchestral arrangements and conducted them during the recording.

The musician's recently released song is now available for streaming online and on major music platforms like Spotify.
