Miley Cyrus kicked out the year with a bang by releasing her latest single, 'Flowers.' It was a singles' anthem in the making. Much more so during Valentine's Day!

Cyrus' facebook post on this special day certainly sparked a conversation on whether women should celebrate self-love or it would also be nice to have others buy you flowers.

Many said that they are listening to the song right at the moment, because they realized they can love themselves better. Others thanked her for the reminder that compared to anyone, they are the ones who have their own backs.

Miley Cyrus returned to the music scene on January 13, 2023, with her latest single, 'Flowers,' from her eagerly anticipated album 'Endless Summer Vacation.' Shortly after its release, the pop singer's latest single received more than a hundred million streams on Spotify, demonstrating that she did not disappoint.

In addition to Miley's stunning vocals, "Flowers" became an instant pop culture phenomenon owing to its inspirational lyrics-a message for women to pursue independence and love themselves above all else-and its possible back story (which Cyrus has yet to confirm or deny).

Critics and music writers have hailed the song as the singer's sincere response to the message of 2012's "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. "When I was your guy" is a song of sorrow about a man reminiscing over his girl, whom he has taken for granted, and their past memories.

According to the lyrics, Miley Cyrus appears to respond to the Bruno Mars song that her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, purportedly dedicated to her. Numerous fans have noted that Cyrus released her most recent single on Hemsworth's birthday. Hemsworth allegedly cheated on Cyrus with numerous women during their whole relationship.

They wed in 2018 and announced their divorce in the latter half of 2019. It appears that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer is currently enjoying her 'best' period, as seen by this new track. "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus is becoming an anthem for women seeking revenge against former partners who have wronged them.

This song is about ladies (or gents?) who have endured poisonous and dismal relationships with those who did not merit their love and respect. This song and its accompanying music video are akin to reminding yourself that you don't actually need another person to fulfill your needs and desires, and that now is the time to love yourself more and do the things that bring you joy without seeking anyone's permission.

This song will educate anyone how to be a better by sometimes, realizing they must leave behind people, things, and circumstances that no longer serve them.

Increasingly, Miley's song serves as a reminder to achieve the best versions of ourselves by leaving behind those who no longer assist us grow.
