Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have experienced their share of good times and bad, yet they've still managed to stay by each other's side.
In a recent interview with Flaunt, the 46-year-old "Kingdom of Heaven" actor opened up about his relationship with the "Teenage Dream" singer.
"We're in two very different pools," Orlando revealed. "Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging."
He further confessed that "We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity," the dad-of-one explained, "I think we're both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did, and there's definitely never a dull moment."
The Australian-born actor reported that the challenge is being in a long-distance relationship with the 38-year-old singer.
Unfortunately, the pair have struggled through some bumps on their path.
The two began dating in 2016, and in 2017 both reps stated that they would need "a respectful and loving space" for the time being as they broke up.
Following their split, it was revealed that the "American Idol" judge nearly saw her future as hopeless. Nevertheless, in February 2018, their relationship rekindled once again.
Katy and Orlando later attended a red carpet event in September of that year and sealed their union with an engagement on Valentine's Day 2019.

In an interview with Vogue India in January 2020, the "Thinking of You" singer opened up about her respect for her then-fiancé and how he was able to be a stabilizing force in her life.
Katy pointed out his spiritual journey and how it contributes to their relationship.
A few months later, the couple eagerly announced they were expecting their first child together by releasing her song "Never Worn White" music video featuring her baby bump.
Despite the disappointment of postponing their summer wedding plans in Japan due to the pandemic, Katy and Orlando celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
But as of writing, the couple has yet to marry.
Orlando was previously married to his ex-wife Miranda Kerr in 2010. The then-couple had a son named Flynn. They announced their separation in 2013. Katy was also once married to comedian, Russell Brand, from 2010 until 2012.
