Jason Sudeikis allegedly has eyes for one woman only - his ex-fiancee, 38-year-old actress-turned-director, Olivia Wilde.
According to sources close to the "Ted Lasso" actor, he believes Olivia's recent fling with British pop sensation Harry Styles resulted from her entering into a "thirty-something crisis." Thus, the comedian is hopeful of reigniting his relationship with Olivia.
Although Jason had wished for a rekindling with Olivia, his friends are not fond of the idea. Since Harry and Olivia's split in January 2023, Jason has been vocal about the "Don't Worry Darling" director's skill and talent; however, the 47-year-old producer and writer's peers have advised him against forming any kind of relationship with the controversial actress-director. Nonetheless, the "Horrible Bosses" star keeps hoping they may come together one day, given their shared past.
Feeling worried for the dad-of-two, a source told Aceshowbiz that they are anxious about his possible rekindled relationship with Olivia. Despite her contentment with the love and attention she is receiving from him, they fear she might have lingering thoughts about her ex-boyfriend, Harry. Thus, those close to him believe he may be wasting time with her.
Though Jason's buddies think otherwise, the actor believes that time will help heal the rift between him and Olivia. "It is good to observe them being amicable. However, Olivia is still in a delicate situation and she must not give him unrealistic expectations," explained the source.
Last month, recent photos taken outside of Los Angeles revealed that Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis had been locked in a tight embrace.
Despite their ongoing custody dispute, sources close to Entertainment Tonight claim that they are "co-parenting in a healthy way." An anonymous source further told them, "Olivia has been putting her kids first since splitting with Harry which has made it easier for her and Jason to get along."
Olivia and Harry's split has reportedly led the brunette beauty to lean on Jason for support.
According to the insider, "Jason has been trying to be supportive of Olivia and a good co-parent during this transition. Things between them are cordial and going well."
However, despite their efforts to remain amicable, Olivia is not interested in pursuing any new relationships due to her heartbreak over Harry Styles.

As first reported by People, the reason behind Harry and Olivia's split is due to them being in two different stages of their lives.
A source close to the couple revealed that Harry's "Love On Tour" tour impacted their relationship. "He's still touring and is now going abroad whereas she is focusing on her kids and her work in Los Angeles."
Despite this, the former lovers, who dated from November 2020, got public in January 2021, and split just last month, are still very close friends with a mutual understanding between them.
It seems that their diverging paths have caused them to drift apart, as another source added, "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart."
