SZA just kicked off her North American Tour in Columbus, Ohio, last night with Grammy-nominated Best New Artist Omar Apollo.

But before the R&B songstress went to perform on the road, she sat down with Billboard to reveal something more about her upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated "SOS (Deluxe)."

SZA 'SOS' Deluxe

In a Billboard cover article, SZA explicitly revealed that "SOS (Deluxe)" will be coming in hot with ten additional tracks!

"I guess I need to stop trying to figure out what it means and start realizing and living in what it is," she told the magazine.

After a flurry of delays and Twitter fights with TDE exec Punch, SZA released her much-awaited sophomore album, "SOS," last December 2022.

Fans of the R&B singer had to wait for almost seven years just for her and her label to release the project. It follows the Grammy-nominated album "Ctrl," released in 2016.

As for "SOS," the album currently stays atop the Billboard 200 charts - staying there for nine nonconsecutive weeks already.

SZA 'SOS' Deluxe Tracklist

SZA's "SOS (Deluxe) tracklist has yet to be revealed. However, it would seem like the album, which already packs 23 tracks, would be extended to 33.

In a Rolling Stone podcast interview, SZA admitted that the label has given a "thumbs down" on three tracks - "PSA," "Boy From South Detroit," and "Joni."

Fans could very well expect that the three could arrive on the deluxe version of the album.

Days after "SOS" was released, SZA also spoke out on the collaborations she had with several artists, including Doja Cat, Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, Olivia Rodrigo, and even Harry Styles, to name some.

However, she said that some collaborators have "ghosted" her during the final process of the album. SZA and Doja Cat's highly-teased collaboration on "Shirt" are also expected to appear on "SOS (Deluxe)."

SZA Reacts To 'Kill Bill' Success

SZA's lead single, "Kill Bill," peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has been holding that spot for weeks now.

When asked during the Billboard interview, SZA gets candid about the track's success.

"I knew it would be something that pissed me off. It's always a song that I don't give a f-k about that's just super easy, not the sh-t that I put so much heart and energy into," she admitted. "Kill Bill" was super easy - one take, one night."

With the song's success on the original release, it is highly unlikely that it would be cut down from "SOS (Deluxe)," a collaborative version of it might actually boost it to No. 1 actually.
