Is there a feud going on between Noel Gallager and Sam Smith that we don't know about?

The former Oasis vocalist singled out the "I'm Not Here to Make Friends" singer during a radio show interview, where he ranted about pop music.

"Music has become quite fractured and chart music is dominated by pop," Gallagher told "Kink."

"Pop music is alright if the pop stars are cool. Sadly the stars of today are f**king idiots."

When asked who he was referring to, the 55-year-old did not hesitate to name names: "Sam Smith, just look at him!"

Sam Smith is Non-Binary

According to reports, Smith announced that they would prefer to be addressed by "they/them" pronouns in 2019 after coming out as non-binary.

"I understand there will be many mistakes and misgendering but all I ask is you please please try," they wrote in a statement. "I hope you can see me like I see myself now."

"I feel just as much woman as I am man," they said in 2017.

iHeartRadio noted that this is not the first time another artist has misgendered the "Unholy" singer.

British television personality Piers Morgan famously bashed Smith just a month ago: "I can't actually keep up with Sam Smith. Why should I have to? ... Why do we have to call Sam Smith they?"

In another instance, Shawn Mendes also misgendered Smith, although he admitted that it was an accident, and publicly apologized for the mistake.

"It absolutely slipped my mind," Medes wrote. "Won't happen again."

Aside from the trouble Smith encounters with their fellow celebrities, they also shared their fair share of experiences of being "verbally abused" by people on the streets.

"So that was the hardest part, I think," Smith explained. "was being at home in the UK and having people shouting at me in the street. Someone spat at me in the street. It's crazy."

However, despite all the drama and issues they have faced in regards to their gender and choice of pronouns, Smith seems to be very happy with their choice.

"My family can communicate with me, they always did, but they communicate with me now in an even better way," they said.

"My love life has become better from it, I feel lovable, I feel comfortable in my skin."
