The Dreamville Festival 2023 is finally coming together.

Slated for two days, Apr. 1 and 2, the highly anticipated music festival will include a myriad of talented and well-loved artists, with J. Cole, Drake, Usher, and Burna Boy as headliners.

According to Complex, Drake will be accompanying J. Cole as "a special guest" for his set.

The statement noted that fans can expect the dynamic duo to "perform a medley of hits from each of their chart-topping catalogs, which collectively have come to define the sound of a generation."

That might just mean that they would perform "Pip Down" and "In The Morning," or perhaps make a rap duet of any of their newer released songs.

Hip-Hop and R&B music lovers will be in for a treat since this year's lineup is packed with the hottest and best-selling artists today.

Here are the artists lined up for the first day of the music festival, which Usher will be headlining: Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, Earthgang, Jessie Reyez, Key Glovk, Sir, Lute, Omen, Marqus Clae, and Victony.

The second day will be headlined by J. Cole and Drake; Summer Walker, J.I.D., GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flocka Flame, Mario, Ayra Starr, Baby Tate, Cozz, Jordan Ward, Reuben Vincent, and Burna Boy will also perform.

TMZ reported that Dreamville Festival 2023 will be held at Dorothea Dix Park in North Carolina; tickets will start from $250 for general admissions up to $1,500 for VIP.

Long-Awaited Follow-Up Festival

According to Rolling Stone, Dreamville Festival 2023 coming to fruition may be like a dream-come-true for some, after all, it has endured several troubles in the past.

It was supposed to happen back in 2018, but was postponed and rescheduled to 2019 after the devastation left behind by Hurricane Florence.

The hurricane affected West Africa, Cape Verde, Bermuda, Atlantic Canada, and the East Coast of the United States.

It was then further postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic; Dreamville Festival did not open back up until last year.

It saw performances from J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Kehlani, Imagine Dragons, T-Pain, Ja Rule, Jeezy, Ari Lennox, Rico Nasty, Ashanti, and more.
