Mr. Big is bidding their fans farewell as they embark on their "The Big Finish" world tour.

News of the last tour comes years after considering how to properly say goodbye to their fans since the tragic death of their drummer Pat Torpey in 2018.

"I hope the people who come see our shows get to feel what it's like when musicians get together and really play and sing the songs they wrote," said Mr. Big's bassist and vocalist Billy Sheehan in a statement. "We want the audience to be one with us and feel our evening together was a magical and beautiful event."

According to reports, the "The Big Finish" world tour will kick off in Nagoya, Japan on Jul. 20; followed by Osaka, Japan on Jul. 22; and Tokyo, Japan on Jul. 25.

The rock band will proceed to Seoul, South Korea on Jul. 29; then Hong Kong on Jul. 31; New Taipei, Taiwan on Aug. 2; followed by two nights in Singapore from Aug. 4 to 5.

Mr. Big will head on to Bangkok, Thailand on Aug. 7; Manila, Philippines on Aug. 9; and finally Jakarta, Indonesia on Aug. 12.

As of this writing, there are no new updates on when Mr. Big will continue their tour to the rest of the world, like Europe, Australia, North, and South America.

'Special Spark'

Mr. Big is just as devastated as their fans when it comes to their farewell tour, after all, they did not really want to say goodbye.

"I love playing with these guys. And if I'm being honest, I don't want it to ever end," Eric Martin said. "I'm the guy who just knows we still have that special spark together, and I always want to keep the torch burning.

"But if it really is the end, then I want us all to have a happy ending together. We're a great live band. I want everybody to come out and see us, because we want to blow you away and have you all think as you're leaving, 'Mr. Big really is the real thing.'"

To make sure that the "The Big Finish" world tour will make fans reminisce of the good times, Mr/ Big enlisted the help of drummer Nick D'Virgilio.

D'Virgilio is a member of Spock's Beard and worked with Genesis on their final album, "Calling All Stations."

"We found a wonderful drummer in Nick, and he's got a great voice too," said Sheehan. "Nick has a vocal range similar to Pat's, and he'll be able to do the parts Pat did with a similar finesse."
