Drake appears to be on a roll as he had been releasing new albums almost every year and he might drop his next project anytime soon with Lil Baby, making him another rapper from Atlanta that the musician collaborated with.

In a recent interview, posted by Drake Charts on Twitter, the "Her Loss" hitmaker's collaborator, Black Coffee, claimed that Quality Control's Coach K spoke to him about Drake collaborating with the Atlanta native, saying they have been working a new album.

He also revealed that the musician will leave the music industry soon, which doubles down the speculations of retirement after the "Honestly, Nevermind" rapper's interview with Lil Yachty.

As of this writing, neither of the two artists has confirmed whether they'll be dropping an album soon.

If the rumors are true this would not be the first time Drake would team up with the hip-hop artist from Atlanta, Georgia as he previously helped his career skyrocket when they released the song "Yes Indeed."

Their professional connection didn't stop there as they went on to drop more collaborations like "Wants And Needs" and "Staying Alive."

The duo was supposed to team up again on "Toosie Slide" but Lil Baby was reportedly busy with another project at the time of its recording, leading Drake to work on the song alone.

Drake Retirement

Despite having chart-topping hits, millions of dollars worth of fortune, and a successful career in the music industry, Drake also needs to rest as he recently hinted that he would retire soon.

In a recent interview with Lil Yachty on "A Moody Conversation," the two rappers sat down in a cozy beach setting where they talked about random things.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the "Work" rapper noted that he's currently at the point of his life where he wanted to have a "graceful exit."

"I think I'm at the point now where I just wanna like... I feel like I'm kinda introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit," he told the rapper.

This isn't the first time Drake opened up about retiring as he previously mentioned that he envisions himself leaving the industry when he's 35 years old, but he's currently 36 and appears to have no plans on stopping soon.

He also told Nicki Minaj last year that he's having doubts on retiring as he loves finishing a project whenever he works on new music.
