Days after the official Glastonbury Festival 2023 lineup was revealed, Shania Twain opened up about her dreams of someday performing at the festival.
At Glastonbury 2023, Elton John was reported to be headlining the Pyramid Stage along with Arctic Monkeys.
In an interview with NME, Twain revealed that it had been her dream to also perform at the Pyramid Stage on a Legends slot.
What is the Glastonbury Legends Slot?
According to RadioX, the Glastonbury Sunday Legend slot is perhaps one of the most prestigious slots in the five-day festival calendar. Usually taken by a veteran or revered artist on a Sunday afternoon slot.
Among the previous performers at the Legends slot were Kylie Minogue, Barry Gibb, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, and Tony Benette.
At Glastonbury 2023, Yusaf/Cat Stevens will be performing in the legends slot.

Shania Twain Dreams Of Glastonbury Legends Slot
"It's on my wish list - absolutely. So I'll make sure I do that. It's a legendary thing, I know, but it's on my wish list," Twain told the magazine when she was asked about it.
Shania Twain has had a great few months already, releasing her new album and already going on tour.
In a red carpet interview at the Grammy Awards, she even called her resurgence the "Shania-ssance," marking her return to the music scene after her health setbacks a few years ago.
Elsewhere in her interview, Twain also recalled how she started in the industry before she was hailed as the Queen of Country Pop.
From the age of eight, Twain has been performing in bars during the "last call" periods.
"I'm telling you, man, you don't want to see some of those bars with the lights on," Twain recounted. "That's when you'd see the guy that's been passed out for two hours, and often that's when the fist fights would start."
Surely, her Glastonbury Legends slot in the future would be something to watch out for. Twain is the person behind chart-topping hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)," "You're Still the One," "(If You're Not in It for Love) I'm Outta Here!" "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" among many other hits.
Most recently, Twain released her album, "Queen of Me," which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
