Now that the couple has seen the youngest leave the next to go to college and her husband, Garth Brooks, is coming out of retirement, Trisha is coming back too - with new music!
PrizeFighter will release through Sony Music Nashville. While no date has been given, we do know that Trisha will be touring with Garth as he mounts his official comeback via the Garth Brooks World Tour.
Yearwood sang three of the new tunes at a media event in Nashville on August 19th - "Cowboys are My Weakness," "Your Husband Is Cheating on Us" and "I Remember Us." She explained (but didn't perform) the title track saying that it is a song "about beating the odds and winning the fight no matter what."
Just like she never fully left music behind when she was focusing on her cooking skills, now that she's back in the music spotlight, she's not leaving cooking behind. The 5th season of her Food Network series, Trisha's Southern Kitchen will start on August 23 and a new cookbook, Trisha's Table, will come out next April.
