Justice for XXXTentacion is finally served as the three suspects framed for his murder were finally found guilty of murder and robbery.

Jahseh Onfroy, popularly known by many as XXXTentacion, was killed by Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome in an attempted robbery turned murder outside a motorcycle shop in Deerfield, Florida, in 2018.

XXXTentacion Verdict: Guilty

After seven days of rigorous jury deliberation and analyses, excluding last Friday's day off, the XXXTentacion verdict for his murder trial was given earlier today, Mar. 20, 2023.

Closing arguments for the high-profile hip-hop murder case were given last Mar. 8, 2023.

"This is who they are. This is their real character. Killers that within 24 hours after shooting the victim dead and stealing $50,000 from him, this is what they do," Prosecutor Pascale Achille said as he showed videos of the three XXXTentacion murder suspects smiling and dancing as they flashed handfuls of $100 bills in the video taken from their own cellphone cameras. "Look at how happy they look. Look at how excited they look."

Who Killed XXXTentacion?

Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome killed XXXTentacion as he was leaving a motorcycle shop in Deerfield, Florida, in 2018, at the height of his music career. Just as Onfroy was leaving the shop, Newsom and Boatwright stole his bag containing $50,000 in cash while Williams acted as the getaway driver.

A fourth suspect was also included, Robert Allen, but he took a plea deal for the case for second-degree murder in August 2022, testifying against his co-conspirators.

Rolling Stone reported that the prosecution built a case around surveillance footage on the area, social media posts, cell phone data from the suspects, and Allen's testimony. It was Boatwright, however, who fatally gunned down Onfroy "without any provocation."

How Many Years Are XXXTentacion Murder Suspects Facing in Jail?

According to Variety, XXXTentacion suspects will be facing mandatory life sentences or life imprisonment. As for Allen, he is expected to have a commuted sentence since he took a plea deal. The prosecution did not seek the death penalty for the XXXTentacion suspects.

As for Onfroy, he was facing several legal bouts before his passing. He was reportedly waiting for trial charges for battery, witness tampering stemming from the alleged violent assault of a former girlfriend, and false imprisonment.

As of this writing, the sentencing date for XXXTentacion murder suspects has yet to be announced.
