The CMT Music Awards is one of the most-anticipated awards shows night in country music.
Pooling the biggest and the hottest country music artists in one night, the annual awards show night is also home to iconic performances and an avenue for up-and-coming artists to showcase their craft in an even bigger platform.
2023 CMT Music Awards Performers on Ram Trucks Side Stage
The 2023 CMT Music Awards just added a new lineup of performers for their Ram Trucks Side Stage!
Trio Chapel Hart, Lily Rose, Megan Moroney, Avery Anna, Jackson Dean, and Nate Smith were all recently announced to be performing on Apr. 2, 2023, at the 2023 CMT Music Awards' Ram Trucks Side Stage.
According to Billboard, four of the six new performers were also previously hailed as CMT Next Women of Country Members. Moroney, on the other hand, is gearing up for a big year as she is competing for her first CMT Award with "Tennesee Orange." The track has been nominated for both Breakthrough Female Video of The Year and CMT Digital First Performance of the Year.
Meanwhile, the main stage is set for the big stars. Previously, the CMT Music Awards announced that Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Carrie Underwood, Katelyn Brown, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, and Carly Pearce will all be performing.
2023 CMT Music Awards Date, Venue
The annual fan-voted country music awards show will be held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Apr. 2, 2023. The 2023 CMT Music Awards livestream will also be available on CBS and Paramount+.
2023 CMT Music Awards Nominees
Lainey Wilson, who is competing for her very first CMT music award this year, is the most-nominated artist with four nods in the major category.
Her song with HARDY, "wait in the truck," has been nominated for Collaborative Video of the Year and Video of the Year. "Never Say Never" was also nominated for Performance of the Year," while her song "Like A Truck" is also in the running for Female Video of the Year.
