Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik's relationship rumors first surfaced last week, sending fans into a frenzy.
The 30-year-old former Disney Channel star was spotted having dinner with the former One Direction member in New York City, and fans of the two singers are eager to find out if a new relationship is in the works.
However, as many people are aware, Zayn is the father of Gigi Hadid's child, Khai. They dated on and off for seven years before revealing their first kid will be born in 2020.

According to a source who talked to Us Weekly, "Gigi has no issue with Zayn dating."
"She's fine with whoever he goes out with as long as he's happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to [their daughter] Khai," they continued.
Fans who were paying attention noticed hints of a possible new romance between Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik. The British singer has now followed her back on Instagram, and she is one of just 18 people he follows.
This wasn't the first time Selena hinted at a romance on Zayn Malik; in 2010, the former "Barney" star laughed when asked which member of One Direction she would most likely kiss.
During that time, she stated that she preferred to kiss Zayn while ignoring the other four, which included Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne.
However, Selena Gomez kept her millions of admirers guessing earlier this month when she said she didn't have a crush and didn't appear to be dating anybody.
She joked about her lack of a relationship status in a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing to music uploaded earlier this month.
