Rosalia and Rauw Alejandro surprised the world by revealing their engagement through a music video, and cemented their love with the release of their EP "RR."

Fans cannot get enough of the couple-after all, they have quite the love story; it began with an exchange of Instagram DMS then it eventually grew to e something more.

"I was nervous, I'm not going to lie," Alejandro admitted to Billboard when he was asked what was it like meeting his now-fiancee in person for the first time. "Rosi came down and I saw her. I got even more nervous."

Love at First Sight

According to reports, Rosalia and Alejandro met at the 2019 Latin Grammys, and two years later, they did their red-carpet debut at the 2021 Latin Grammys several months after launching their relationship on Instagram.

Everything in between those public appearances and posts consisted of the couple working on music together.

Shortly after meeting for the first time- which they described as "100% love at first sight" -they immediately hit the recording studio.

On Alejandro's album, "Afrodisíasco," Rosalia had a hand in writing "Dile a El" and "Strawberry Kiwi."

She jumped into the studio to work on "Caprichoso" again, which came out on the Puerto Rican artist's 2022 album "Trap Cake Vol. 2."

On the other hand, Rosalia has put her complete faith and trust into Alejandro when it comes to her live performances.

She explained how he had to be in her sound checks, "it's as if he were my ears," she said.

The support and guidance they share with each other never go unnoticed by fans, as everyone has continuously cheered them on.

"We watch each other's backs," Alejandro said. "At a visual, stage level, we share ideas; also styling, outfits [...] We're taking care of our prestige and our work and ensuring it always looks the part. We motivate each other to keep rising to an infinite level."

Power Couple

While Rosalia and Alejandro have a long way to go when it comes to becoming a superpower couple like Jay-Z and Beyonce, there's no denying that they definitely have the potential.

Rosalia has been bagging some of the biggest awards in Latin music, like Album of the Year from the Latin Grammys for several years now.

Alejandro isn't too far off behind her, as he is also gaining attention and popularity among Latin music fans and international fans as well.

As per Mitu, now that they're engaged, they have cemented themselves as a couple that people should definitely look out for in the future.
