Swift released the single "Lavender Haze" in 2022 as part of her 10th studio album, "Midnights." The track immediately reached No. 2 on the charts in the US, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, and Australia, among others, upon its release. It also appeared on Billboard Global 200.

The song's success is yet to quiet down after the pop superstar released a new version of the hit track.

"Lavender Haze" acoustic version became the latest track to receive a twist from the hitmaker. Previously, she had already worked with several artists, including Tensnake, Snakehips, Jungle and Felix Jaehn for the other versions of the song.

Swift once explained that she created the song after hearing the phrase "lavender haze" while watching "Mad Men." She reportedly searched for its meaning and found it cool, as people in the 1950s used the term to describe what it was like being in love.

From there, she created the now-hit song.

Her other song, "Anti-Hero," also received an acoustic treatment and other remixes by ILLENIUM, Jayda G. Kungs, Bleachers, and Roosevelt.

Taylor Swift Gets a Street Named After Her

Before dropping the new project, Arlington, Texas hyped Swifties when it said it temporarily renamed a street near the AT&T Stadium where the singer performed over the weekend.

The city confirmed the news Thursday in a statement that created a wordplay of some of Swift's hit songs.

"Arlington is 'Enchanted' to welcome Taylor Swift back to AT&T Stadium..."it said. "'Long Story Short,' Arlington knows the tens of thousands of fans heading to the Entertainment District this weekend will have 'The Best Day' ever while attending The Eras Tour in The American Dream City."

Called Taylor Swift Way, Arlington created a street sign and placed it at the corner of Collins Street to help the concertgoers recognize the street.
