Fivio Foreign held his microphone and performed again after his 2023 Rolling Loud absence.

Throughout his decades-old career, Fivio Foreign never canceled an appearance and performed in every schedule he had as much as possible. He broke it, however, when he missed his set at this year's Rolling Loud California.

Following the health scare, the 33-year-old Brooklyn star officially returned to a smaller-scale stage.

Fivio Foreign Marks Return After Rolling Loud Absence

A news outlet confirmed Fivio Foreign's appearance during Benny Da Jeweler's birthday celebration inside the Da Mikele Illagio in Queens, New York City, Thursday. It marked the first time he performed again after his unexpected nonappearance at the 2023 festival in California.

According to the report, Fivio Foreign sang several hit songs, including "City of Gods" and "Say My Name." During his appearance, the rapper reportedly clowned around and looked better than ever despite his concerning last update.

For what it's worth, the same publication spotted him at Los Angeles International Airport in March, during which he looked like he had recovered from his last health issue already.

He was also spotted meeting several rappers in the past months, including Lil Tjay, Diddy, and Ice Spice.

Fivio Foreign's most recent project was "Against the World" with Philadelphia rapper D Sturdy. The track, which is his first single of 2023, was released via Starve Records/Def Jam Recordings.

"The inspiration behind 'Against The World' was me feeling like I couldn't trust anyone at the time. But I put a spin on it and made it my own. A high-energy song," D Sturdy said. "Fivio has been supporting me for a minute. He actually brought me out to one of his shows before, so it was only right that we made a song together."

Why Did Fivio Foreign Cancel His Rolling Loud Appearance?

The Brooklyn rapper worried his fans when he asked them to pray for him after postponing his set at the festival.

He shared his status on Twitter, saying that his body was dealing with some issues.

"Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me I ain't make it.. My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body is dealing w some real issues.. Juss keep me in yah prayers & I'll hit Tariq up to make it up," he wrote.

It remains unknown what exact health issue he dealt with. But he tweeted weeks before his appearance that he has been struggling with depression. He noted how pressures in life and career could contribute to such mental health issues.
