Over the past few months, fans have been waiting for Chloe Bailey to release her debut album "In Pieces" as she constantly promotes it on social media and in interviews. However, a week after it dropped, supporters were disappointed over the low album sales; how did the R&B star react?

According to Vibe, social media users shared their individual opinions over the album as many of them couldn't believe that Beyoncé's signee sold only a few thousand units of her latest project.

The record, which features a collaboration with Chris Brown, only debuted at number 119 on the Billboard 200 chart with only 10,000 units sold. (via Chart Data)

Fans immediately defended the singer over her low album sales, with a user pointing out that she didn't release the record for the charts, but rather for her own creative purposes.

"Y'all don't realise that she made this album for the arts and not for the charts... Like leave sister alone!... The problem is y'all are so unwilling to let artists grow. Y'all expect them to be getting #1 hits and #1 albums straight out the gate," one wrote.
