Leigh-Anne Pinnock may have been on a hiatus from her girl group Little Mix, but it's not stopping her from launching her solo career as she's reportedly set to drop her debut album soon.
According to Daily Mail UK, many of the pop star's friends believe she could be the next Dua Lipa with her solo project as she is currently recording new material in Los Angeles under Warner Records.
Her closest friends were able to hear some of her songs including a track titled "Me Minus One" which will be an upbeat pop hit that her fans will surely like.

She is being compared to Dua Lipa and described as the “next big musical star”.

Sources who spoke to The Sun said her music has been "really impressive" and there's a big possibility for her to "follow in the footsteps of Dua and become a superstar in her own right now."
Leigh-Anne Pinnock Solo Music Career
Leigh-Anne Pinnock first teased fans about her solo music in December 2022 when she revealed in a newsletter that she will be giving fans "as much music" as she can when it's ready.
"I've been working really hard on music that's coming together slowly but surely. I'm so happy with what we've made so far but I know there's much more to do," she wrote. (via NME)

The musician also expressed her excitement, saying she's lucky to work with incredible producers, songwriters, and creatives for her new album and she couldn't wait for her supporters to hear what she has in store for them.
Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall to Release Solo Music This 2023
Aside from Pinnock, her Little Mix bandmates, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, are also reportedly set to drop solo music this 2023, but the trio won't interlap with each other's releases.
The reason behind it is that they don't want to have a chart war to give each other the spotlight of each song they release.
On the other hand, their former bandmate, Jesy Nelson, will be releasing a new song as she teased fans her upcoming music video for "Bad Thing" last week.
She also took to her social media accounts to share a short video of herself in the recording studio. Her new single will be released on April 14, 2023. (via Capital FM)
