Time magazine just released its annual list of the most influential people, and it comes as no surprise to everyone that Beyonce has made it on the list.

After all, the "Cuff It" singer is indeed one of the most influential people in the world; she is highly regarded among her peers, her music is being played in every club, and she is about the embark on her highly anticipated tour.

In honor of being named one of the most influential people of 2023 by Time, Beyonce's co-producer for her chart-topping hit album "Renaissance," shared some kind words about the singer.

"In 2003, Beyoncé performed her hit single 'Crazy in Love' for the BET Awards," wrote Honey Dijon. "Her performance embodied the legacy and culture of Black artists from Josephine Baker to Tina Turner, James Brown, and Prince. The way she commanded the stage and led her band was transcendent. That performance secured her place in the pantheon as one of the greatest Black female artists of our time."

Dijon went on to list down several instances that Beyonce achieved and overcame expectations in her career, like being considered as being one of the "foundations of Black music."

She also noted that Beyonce has "immense contributions to the Black gay and queer community" through her "tapestry of music."

Living Legend

With just four months into 2023, Beyonce has cemented her name in music history as one of the most iconic and legendary artists.

During the 65th annual Grammy Awards, the "Alien Superstar" singer won four awards, bringing her total wins to 32.

She won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for "Renaissance"; Best R&B Song for "Cuff It"; Best Dance/Electronic Recording for "Break My Soul"; and Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Plastic Off the Sofa."

She is currently the artist with the most Grammy wins. According to Forbes, the singer has once named the female artist with the most wins.

The Only One

Just as Beyonce sang in "Alien Superstar" ("I'm one of one, I'm number one. I'm the only one"), she has made herself the top dog in the music industry.

But that was not always the case, as per her 2010 interview with Allure, Beyonce revealed that her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, has been long gone.

"I don't need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I've grown, and I'm now able to merge the two," she said.
