Like most normal people, Michelle Obama also gets starstruck.

Despite being one of the most prominent people in the United States for the past few decades, the former First Lady of the United States can also get jitters when seeing her favorite musicians in front of her very eyes.

Michelle Obama's Favorite Musicians Revealed

In an interview with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Obama dished out the two musicians who activated her "fangirl" mode upon meeting them.

Asked by Fallon if he ever gets starstruck despite being a huge celebrity and personality already, Obama, as usual, has been very humble and very direct in her response!

"Absolutely I do," she told Fallon. "Just imagine the people that we met!"

For six years, the Obama household lived in The White House. Barack served at the Oval Office while Michelle ran the entire team. Malia and Sasha were also there too.

In recalling her encounter with famous people, Obama first said it was Stevie Wonder who she gushed over.

"Stevie? You know, when I first met Stevie Wonder? I was just like 'Stevie!' I fangirled out. Prince? I mean ... Prince played at the White House months before he passed, actually. I fangirl out."

Michelle Obama Met Stevie Wonder, Prince

In 2017, Obama was serenaded by Wonder on the Tonight Show as a tribute to her eventual departure from the White House. Not only did she get a special performance of "Isn't She Lovely" dedicated specifically to her, but he even rewrote the lyrics of "My Cherie Amour" just for the former First Lady.

"My Michelle amour," the music icon sang. "You're the only one we adore... You'll always be First Lady in our lives."

Notably, Wonder was the first concert that former President Barack attended in 1983 - talk about a full-circle moment for them!

As for Prince, they had quite a more difficult time arranging his visit to the White House. She revealed in a podcast with Questlove that they had complications with inviting the singer to birthday celebrations because he was a practicing Jehovah's Witness. (via Consequence)

"He was like, I can't come, but I want to come.' We had to figure out how to create something that wasn't a birthday," she recalled, to which the singer eventually agreed. "For the first 15 minutes, he just let his band riff. They were just jamming before he even showed up.
