Walker Hayes has been on the trek for her second major arena tour, and he has spoken so fondly about it. The country music superstar might not be feeling homesick despite being on the road, as his show seemed to be turning into a warm hug from home every time.
Walker Hayes 'Duck Buck' Tour
Hayes is a full-pledged family guy - married to his wife Lainey since 2004, the superstar also has six children. Among those is Lela, who, unbeknownst to many, is one of the four dancers on his tour.
In an interview with Billboard, Hayes doesn't seem to be getting homesick because he still finds some time to hang out and spend time with them. More so, Hayes also revealed that he and his band are becoming more of a tightly-knit family, one concert after the other.
"Every night, we stand up there onstage, and I just think about how far we've come together and I wouldn't trade a single moment," he told the magazine about his bandmates.
Elaborating more on the changes they have instituted this year on his "Duck Buck" tour, Hayes opened up that they realized that being intimate is better compared to last year. They have now trimmed from three screens to one big screen, noting that intimacy and proximity to each other work better for them.
Choreography and dancing were also put in the spotlight for the tour, in which Hayes described his dancers to be "the best athletes and entertainers."
