James Corden bid his final goodbye to his home at the CBS lot for eight long years, "The Late Late Show with James Corden," but as One Direction's biggest fan, Corden had Directioners swooning with his last guest - Harry Styles.

Earlier this month, speculation arose when rumors came about that a One Direction reunion would be taking place on the last episode of "The Late Late Show". This was later debunked by the show, however. But that doesn't mean Corden would not go out without a bang; he invited Harry Styles and Will Ferrell as his last guests for the show's last episode.

One Direction Reunion Possible According to Harry Styles?

Perhaps one of the internet's most burning questions is - when would One Direction have their reunion?

Since then, fans have been scraping for crumbs on the boys' social media accounts, asking them when the comeback would be at every possible chance.

But the biggest gleam of hope any Directioner could get came from Harry Styles in his interview with Corden.

Ferell, Corden, and Styles played the last game of "Spill Your Guts." Styles read the card and asked himself the question - "Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion?" - which prompted the crowd to erupt in cheer.

Harry Styles' answer to the One Direction reunion question was concise and straightforward.

"You know..I feel that it's not a yes or no question. I would never say never to that. I think if there was a time we all felt that we wanted to do it, I don't see why we wouldn't."

Corden, one of the biggest boyband's fans, screamed excitedly, saying he would take that answer as a yes!

Where Has One Direction Been Since The Hiatus?

Since taking an indefinite hiatus in 2016, the boy group has taken on solo careers, with Styles perhaps being the most successful of them all.

Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson had been touring and releasing music and albums here and there. But, Liam Payne has since been banished by the fandom after infamously airing the group's dirty laundry in an interview. As for Zayn Malik, he has been on a down low since he left the band earlier.

Earlier this year, Payne and Tomlinson had been spotted together when the former attended the latter's documentary premiere, "All Those Voices," at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London last March 2023.
