Aside from the catchy sound of her music, Doja Cat surely knows how to catch everyone's attention whenever she attend red-carpet events and fashion shows as she recently shocked fans during her appearance at this year's Met Gala.

According to Page Six Style, the "I Don't Do Drugs" rapper made her debut at fashion's biggest night dressed as, you guessed it, Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette.

This year's theme is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty," which is an homage to the late fashion designer and Chanel creative director who passed away in 2019.

The 27-year-old musician, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, is not playing with her look as she took the feline theme to the next level.

She wore a silver custom gown by Oscar de la Renta adorned with sequins and a dramatic feathered train. Her look was completed with a cat-ear hood.

Regarding her makeup, the "Say So" songstress embodied Choupette with prosthetics to give an illusion of a cat and a simple eye look enhanced by the dramatic cat eyeliner.

After the rapper's photos at the event made rounds on social media, many fans immediately reacted to her look and most of them were shocked in a positive way.

"doja cat dressed as a cat it's a whole concept and I'm here for it," one wrote.

"OMG SHE IS IN THEME WHAT THE F*** THIS IS SO SMART," another one wrote, while another one reacted, "This is so c*** omg I love it. This is camp omg she had to show y'all how you should've done 2019," referring to the 2019 theme "Camp: Notes on Fashion."

Doja Cat Fashion

This is not the first time Doja Cat turned heads in the fashion industry as she previously made headlines after attending the Schiaparelli Haute Couture fashion show in Paris earlier this year.

The musician wore a completely red look, literally from head to toe, as her entire body was covered with over 30,000 red Swarovski crystals.

During the same season, she also attended Viktor & Rolf's show wearing false eyelashes as eyebrows complete with a mustache.

In other updates, fans are waiting for Doja Cat to release her new album anytime this year, and she told her supporters that the musical project would be completely rap, contrary to her previous ones which revolved around of pop.
