Hildur Gudnadottir, the composer of the upcoming film "Joker: Folie A Deux" starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, is pleading for help after a key instrument was stolen from her.

Taking to her official Twitter account, the musician asked help from the Berlin music community as her instrument, which appears to be an electric violin, was stolen from her apartment after an apparent burglary.

"Someone just broke in and stole my instrument. It has a huge emotional value to me," she explained.

The Oscar award-winning composer then noted that the violin is now "worthless" to whoever got it as it needed specific accompanying amplifiers in order for it to work.

"Please share this & help me find it!" she wrote.

World of Reel suggested that the said electric violin is a key instrument for the music production of "Joker: Folie A Deux" as it is needed for the film's score.

Based on her Twitter account, there are still no updates on whether the instrument was already recovered or not.

The "Is That Alright?" hitmaker can be seen donning a toned-down version of the iconic DC Comics character as her makeup isn't as vibrant compared to Margot Robbie's version.

As of this writing, there is no information regarding the movie's plot aside from it being a musical. Lady Gaga will star alongside Joaquin Phoenix who plays the role of Joker.

The upcoming film will hit theaters on October 9, 2024.
