During Priscilla Presley's unpleasant dispute with her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley's trust, her wishes and desires remained unsettled.

Hoping to be laid to rest near the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, she requested a burial spot next to him; however, it was reportedly rapidly rejected, TMZ has learned.

The dispute between 77-year-old Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough was much more than a financial disagreement, sources familiar with the situation informed the outlet.

Priscilla desired to be laid to rest next to her former beloved.

Priscilla's plea had no realistic chance of being fulfilled, as Elvis is interred in the Meditation Garden at Graceland between his parents Gladys and Vernon. Resting in this sacred place, it would be impossible for him to reside elsewhere.

Priscilla's suggestion to move the coffins of Elvis' parents was quickly met by opposition, and she did not challenge it further.

Sources reported that she stepped away from her proposal without much argument.

Priscilla expressed her thoughts on the matter, saying, "My family and I are not expecting that my time will come any day soon. Nevertheless, when it does arrive, we would like for me to be reunited with my beloved daughter and partner in death."

She added, "We are grateful for all of the love coming from our fans."

Graceland is also the final resting place of Priscilla's late daughter, Lisa Marie, alongside her son, Benjamin Keough. Tragically, Ben passed away at age 27 due to suicide in 2020.

After the unexpected death of Lisa Marie, Priscilla was determined to contest a 2016 amendment that had been made to her will, which removed her as a conservator and replaced her with Riley.

Despite not receiving the preference she wanted regarding the burial site, Priscilla successfully secured a settlement over Lisa Marie's estate.

On Tuesday, May 16, Ronsen Shamoon, Priscilla's lawyer, publicly expressed his delight at the recent settlement.

According to him, "Families are overjoyed and content with the outcome. All parties involved are in harmony and look forward to what lies ahead with optimism."

Reports suggest Priscilla was rewarded handsomely for relinquishing her claims to Lisa Marie's trust, which consists of Graceland and a portion of Elvis Presley Enterprises.
