Taylor Swift's fans from all over the globe are hoping to get a ticket to the pop star's concert as it would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

However, not everyone was fortunate to obtain passes as some of the ticket prices are worth hundreds of dollars, which are not affordable to other supporters.

A Swiftie from Nashville was one of those who couldn't get tickets for the event, but he was determined to see his idol perform in person.

Taylor Swift Fan Becomes a Security Guard to Watch 'The Eras' Tour

According to News Channel 5 Nashville, a fan named David Perrigo was over the moon as he was finally able to watch the "Hits Different" hitmaker perform in front of him.

Even though he was able to watch the concert, the journey to get there was not easy as he couldn't get passes.

Since he didn't want to give up on his dreams, Perrigo applied as a security guard at the event, and luckily for him, he got accepted and was even designated literally beside the stage.

The fan was not able to get any footage of the event as his job has a no-phone policy while working, but other concertgoers were able to record him as he sang every lyric of Swift's songs.

Taylor Swift Security Guard Went Viral

Fans immediately shared videos of Perrigo online which made him an instant celebrity overnight.

At first, he showed a video to his workmate saying he got 10,000 views and he was happy about it. Later that day, the post got over a million views.

There were countless clips of him on social media singing different songs of the pop star as he stood beside the stage.

Some Swifties even swooned over him as they noted how good-looking he is, but he clarified in the interview that he is happily married.

"My wife jokes that I sing Taylor Swift songs with such passion for someone who's never been broken up with," he told the news outlet.

In other updates, Taylor Swift's next show would be at the Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, on May 19 to 21, 2023.
