The possibilities are endless with Sam Smith and Madonna.

From a collab song, a surprise guest appearance at "GLORIA The Tour" or the "Celebration Tour," or something different entirely, fans cannot help but sit at the edge of their seats in anticipation.

After all, the pair of superstar performers are known to surprise the audience and leave their mouths hanging in shock.

Smith and Madonna both took to social media to release a very short teaser that showed an eight-second text-only clip that reads "Sam" and "Madonna."

What's Up?

Fans are not entirely sure what the collab will be. Both artists are busy with their own tours, Smith is currently in the UK, and they have several shows lined up in the following cities: Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and more.

On the other hand, Madonna is gearing up for her twelfth tour which is set to begin on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada.

Fans have begun speculating what the teaser clip is about: "Is this like a collab song or will she be performing with you tonight?"

"Madonna and Sam Smith, this better not be a remix," another fan wrote.

"Excuse me whatttt!! Details now."

"I'm dreaming, it can't be real."

"What is happening OMG."

Manchester Surprise

Apparently, before their show in Manchester, the "I'm Not Here To Make Friends" singer already teased their fans.

"Manchester we've got a surprise for you this evening," they said in an Instagram Story. "Unholy won't be the last song..."

To add more suspense to the upcoming collab, Just Jared reported that "GLORIA The Tour" also includes a Madonna cover in the setlist.

Perhaps Smith has been giving fans hints about this collab for much longer than they initially thought.

On top of that, Madonna also made a surprise appearance during Smith and Kim Petras' performance at the 2023 Grammys.

As the duo was performing their chart-topping hit song 'Unholy," Madonna showed up onstage alongside them, sending fans into a frenzy.

Just like Smith, who was wrapped in controversy following the release of "Unholy" and the stage performances from their tour, Madonna is definitely no stranger to controversy.

The "Like a Virgin" singer's name is synonymous with controversy at this point. Her "Like a Prayer" music video included images of burning crosses, the singer kissing a Black saint, and White supremacists.

Putting Smith and Madonna together just means something controversial-but iconic.
