Ed Sheeran New Jersey MetLife Stadium Concert

According to North Jersey, Ed Sheeran broke the MetLife Stadium attendance record on his Jun. 11, 2023, concert at the venue. Per records, Sheeran performed a career-spanning set list in front of his 89,106 fans at the venue.

The capacity of the venue just boasts around 82,000 seats for a concert venue. However, according to the state's official website, Ed Sheeran's stage provides the whole stadium with a 360-degree view of the whole performance, meaning all seats were occupied, as opposed to other artists' concerts in the venue.

Sheeran bested other artists who have played in the same stadium, including New Jersey hero Bruce Springsteen, U2, Metallica, and Taylor Swift, who all had packed, sold-out shows. Khalid and Dylan opened the Ed Sheeran New Jersey MetLife Stadium Concert which took place from Jun. 10 to Jun. 11, 2023.

Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time that Sheeran broke the attendance record of a venue. In his Philadelphia concert last Jun. 3, 2023, Sheeran filled the Lincoln Financial field with a 77,900 audience - thanks to the unobstructed view his concert stage offered.

As of this writing, the Ed Sheeran New Jersey MetLife Stadium Concert is the singer's biggest American concert to date.
