Dee Snider ruled out Twisted Sister's reunion tour following the band's induction into the Metal Hall of Fame.

Snider joined Jay Jay French, Mark "The Animal" Mendoza, Keith Robert War (who filled in for Eddie Ojeda), and Mike Portnoy when Dee Snider had a one-off stage reunion at the Metal Hall of Fame in Agoura Hills, California.

Talks about a reunion tour sparked after the performance, but Snider recently revealed how impossible it is.

Dee Snider Says Twisted Sister's Reunion Tour Is Not Happening

In an interview with 94.5 KATS, Snider responded to the question about Twisted Sister's potential live performances in the future.

According to the former lead singer, he already said they were retiring in 2016 and that they would follow the decision because he is a man of his word.

"People reacted very positively when I said I could see TWISTED getting together for a charity event for a few songs," he continued. "We got together for the Heavy Metal Hall Of Fame induction [in January]. I can see something like that. We're all friends, and it's fun. But going out, hitting the road."

Snider noted that he also received an offer to play Captain Hook's role in the new Broadway production of "Peter Pan." While he considered taking on the character, he also realized that the part of his life is done.

Although Twisted Sister's reunion tour will not happen, he hinted in April during an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment that the band would come together again for special performances "at different political rallies that need our support."

His comments resonated with what he said in January, saying that the band has no additional plans to ever do reunion performances. He also told The Metal Voice in March that their Metal Hall of Fame performance should not give hope to fans that they would reunite again at one point or another.

Retirement Means Retirement, Says Dee Snider

In 2021, Snider made it clear that he was "100 percent committed to not reuniting." Instead of reconnecting with the classic lineup of Twisted Sister, he reportedly wanted to focus on his solo endeavors and spend more time doing something new.

He also shared a similar sentiment when a fan asked him about his retirement, to which he said he no longer sees himself recording anymore.
