Phil Collins' net worth in 2023 increased even after he announced his retirement last year.

Genesis fans remain hopeful to see the band members on one stage again after Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Rony Banks marked their last show at London's 02 Arena as part of their The Last Domino? Tour. However, Collins declared his retirement to focus on his health, and his bandmates and colleagues frequently shared how the drummer can no longer play like he used to.

Over a year after Genesis' last concert and his retirement, Collins' net worth still saw a massive increase that proved his influence on the music industry.

Phil Collins 2023 Net Worth: Genesis Drummer Richer Than Ever

In the updated estimates posted on Wealthy Gorilla and Celebrity Net Worth, they revealed that Phil Collins' net worth 2023 still makes him one of the richest drummers in the world.

From his $300 million net worth in 2022, the value is now at $350 million - an unexpected number since he has not released new music nor performed again after his last concert with Genesis.

Collins' net worth ultimately equated to The Beatles' Ringo Starr, whose net worth remains at $350 million as of press time. Lars Ulrich matched the number, as well, making him the richest member of Metallica.

Meanwhile, the other richest drummers include Dave Grohl with $330 million and U2's Larry Mullen with $300 million.

The Genesis drummer would have earned more if it was not because of his health issues. Amid his record-breaking concerts, he could earn as much as $50 million per show.

Phil Collins' Health Issues

He first revealed his condition during his interview on "BBC Breakfast" in September 2021, saying he could barely hold the sticks with his hands.

"Somehow, during the last Genesis tour, I dislocated some vertebrae in my upper neck, which affected my hands," he said, shocking the viewers. "After a successful operation on my neck, my hands still can't function normally."

In March, former Genesis singer Peter Gabriel told Uncut that Collins did not look as strong as he remembers him upon seeing him during the band's last concert.

Meanwhile, Rutherford also disclosed that his bandmate was much more immobile when he last saw him but assured that Collins is fine at home as he enjoys his life and time with his family, as reported by The Independent.
