Earlier this year, following months of legal wrangling, an agreement was reached between Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter, Riley Keough.

The former will permit the latter to become the sole trustee over her late mother's estate, Lisa Marie Presley. This arrangement is now awaiting court approval.

Five months after Lisa Marie's untimely passing, the "Daisy Jones & Six" star and vocalist has taken legal action to ensure her mother's trust is finalized.

On Monday, court documents revealed that the trust owned by singer-songwriter and daughter of Elvis Presley,

The estate of the Santa Monica native includes funds from a life insurance policy Lisa Marie held.

This news follows an agreement reached between Riley and her grandmother Priscilla in May when representatives of both parties announced it had been resolved at a Los Angeles probate court.

After the lengthy court battle, sources close to Riley Keough have stated that she has no desire for further hatred.

An inside source reported to People that the actress is glad to have resolved the disagreements over her mother's estate.

Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is struggling to cope with her mother's sudden passing. Lisa Marie Presley passed away in January after a cardiac arrest at her Calabasas residence.

Being a mother to her baby daughter with husband Ben Smith-Petersen, Riley is now determined to concentrate on making memories for her family.

This has reportedly become her top priority.

When the Daily Mail inquired about Priscilla's reaction to the settlement, her lawyer Ronson Shamoun was pleased to report that "the families are happy and unified and together and excited for the future."

Justin Gold, Riley's attorney, further confirmed that she would not have consented to the agreement unless she were pleased.

Two weeks after Lisa Marie's passing, her mother, Priscilla, decided to take legal action against her daughter's will. This document allotted control of the trust to Lisa Marie's daughter Riley Keough - and upon hearing this news, she was reportedly furious. At the beginning of this month, the reason for their newfound peace became evident: Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley had reached a reconciliation.

The details behind that agreement remain between them, undisclosed to anyone outside their relationship.

Last month, both parties informed Judge Lynn Scaduto in LA Superior Court that they had successfully negotiated a settlement.

To keep the agreement's details confidential, Riley's lawyer declared that he would file a motion to seal them from public view.

Additionally, it was revealed that a second trust - thought to include Lisa Marie's insurance policies totaling $35 million - had been agreed upon.

August 4 has been marked on the court calendar for a hearing regarding sanctioning both settlements, as set by order of the honorable Justice Scaduto.

The purpose of this meeting is to receive official approval from the court.
