Jennifer Hudson is letting everyone know who she is on her upcoming third studio album, JHUD. Ahead of its September 23 release via RCA.
"With this album, I feel as though you get a sense of my energy and that's why we named it JHUD because you're getting to know the girl and not just the public persona of Jennifer Hudson," said Hudson in a statement. "I want you to know the person."
She told radio station WPGC that the record is, "different expressions of me as an artist, a girl, a music lover," adding that fans will "get to know the girl JHUD inside."
The 10-track, 1970s-inspired album will feature the Pharrell-produced single "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" featuring T.I., the Timbaland-produced "Walk It Out," and the R. Kelly-assisted "It's Your World" as well as the Iggy Azalea-featuring "He Ain't Goin Nowhere."
