The third consecutive No. 1 album for Stray Kids on the Billboard 200 chart is "5-Star."
Their rise to the top started in the spring of 2022, and since then, their success has only increased, with each new release bringing in increasing amounts of money from sales. The band's upward trajectory has been consistent, and there is no telling what their future sales and chart placement will be.
With their EP Oddinary released in March 2022, Stray Kids became one of the few South Korean acts to have an album debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Although their first appearance at the top was a success in and of itself, it wasn't regarded as one of the year's most outstanding performances.

Their second No. 1 album, Maxident, doubled their previous record of No. 1 albums on the charts. Maxident demonstrated the band's growing popularity and devoted fans with 117,000 album-equivalent units, including an astonishing 110,000 pure purchases.
All prior sales records for Stray Kids have been shattered by the release of 5-Star. With astounding 249,500 equivalent album units, the album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, outpacing the combined sales of their previous two chart-toppers. In fact, the album outsold their prior No. 1 EPs across all consumption formats in the U.S. alone.
Due to 5-Star's enormous success, 2023's biggest sales week and the fourth-largest week for any album released this year resulted. Stray Kids outperformed tough rivals like Tomorrow X Together and Karol G, two more K-pop acts that peaked at the top of the charts earlier in 2023.

While it is too soon to forecast the specifics of Stray Kids' upcoming album, there is reason to believe that it may follow the same path and make its Billboard 200 debut at the top with even higher sales numbers than 5-Star. The band's steady upward trend predicts that their upcoming albums will continue to enthrall listeners and top the charts, solidifying their position as one of the most successful acts in the business.
This most recent album highlights not only their supremacy on Billboard's prestigious world music rankings, which they have grown incredibly familiar with over their extraordinary journey, but also their status as a force to be reckoned with. 5-Star makes a victorious debut at the top of the World Albums list, giving Stray Kids their third consecutive number-one album.
The group has clearly established itself as powerhouses on this list by catapulting an amazing 10 extra projects into the top 10 on this renowned ranking. However, Stray Kids really outperform this period on the World Digital Song Sales ranking. The list this week, which counts the bestselling "world" songs in the United States on a weekly basis, included five of the 12 songs featured on 5-Star.
The chart only has 15 slots, therefore it's important to note that Stray Kids have managed to fill one-third of the very limited space.
