Six years ago, Taylor Swift, 33, sent a sweet and supportive text to Lorde, 26.

To celebrate the release of her second album "Melodrama" which is now six years old, the singer took to Instagram and shared a cut-off photo of the message.

The highly anticipated record was positive words from someone close in her life.

"Taylor was very kind and not wrong," Lorde captioned the snapshot.

Part of the text the "Lavender Haze" singer sent said, "You will always be imagined in my mind in a rowboat with Annie Lennox floating down a river of cool cerebral ethereal dreams but don't-f ----g-with-me vibes all around you."

"And I don't think first week record sales singularly define a legacy."

Once the news spread, supporters of the singers were quick to react. "Long live Taylorde!" exclaimed one follower, along with a series of snaps from prior occasions they had attended together.

Lorde 'Melodrama' Album

Six years after the release of "Melodrama," Lorde is back with a photo and another impressive collaboration.

Working alongside producer Jack Antonoff - who Taylor Swift is commonly associated with - the album was full of hit songs like "Green Light," "Sober," and "Perfect Places." It proved to be a particular project.

The album was immediately successful upon its release, rocketing to the top of the US Billboard 200 charts in its first week and winning a New Zealand Music Award for Album of the Year.

As she worked on "Melodrama" all those years ago, the "Royals" singer also recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look with a carousel of pictures from her writing process.

One snapshot showed the New Zealander indulging in breakfast as an adolescent while creating the album.

Her home was the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City for an extended period. Unbeknownst to her at the time, it was a very pricey establishment, which meant that much of her initial advance went on covering those bills.

A picture of her found her sitting inside a bathtub with her laptop. Her caption read, "Lots of dramatic lyric writing sessions just like this. My heart was beating so quickly due to the high anxiety levels I was feeling, just like a little bird's".
