Zayn Malik Selfie: Sparks One Direction Reunion Speculations, Selena Gomez Feelings?

Fans were thrilled to see singer Zayn Malik post a rare Instagram selfie as One Direction rumors persisted.

The musician, who quit the X Factor band in 2015, shared an image with no caption on Saturday, June 17, with his 49.7 million Instagram followers.

The hitmaker was bathed in sunlight in the moody selfie as he gazed seductively into the camera for a picture that went viral on social media.

Fans have praised the celebrity for the unusual selfie in droves in the comments section, with one even writing, "What a great thing to wake up to."

Another follower said in a comment: "Bro is majestic as always."

Being this lovely is a crime, a third person said.

"OMGGGG he's alive!" exclaimed a fourth. also smoking.

In addition to sobbing face emojis, another person said, "Zayn so beautiful."

Just days after former band member Liam Payne said a One Direction reunion would be possible, Zayn uploaded a photo from the studio as he hinted to upcoming music.

Zayn departed the boyband in 2015, although the group survived until 2016 before dissolving and each member starting their own individual ventures.

Fans went wild when Liam stated in an interview that the ex-band members were conversing in a WhatsApp discussion and that the band may be considering a reunion. It's unclear, though, whether Zayn participated in these conversations.

Niall, a band member, also spoke candidly about the group members' continued chatter, saying: "We've had three or four group chats.

Some of them have been quieter than others, she said.

This new one is definitely louder than others, and it's been amazing. If I looked up my phone in a few minutes, I'm sure I'd see some texts, he continued to E! News.

According to a source, Niall and Louis Tomlinson joined former bandmate Liam Payne to record a song for his next album. Liam is good friends with Niall and Louis and enjoyed hooking up with them while they were all in LA. They all joined a track since it felt comfortable to be in the studio with each other.

They sang together effortlessly, and it reminded them of simpler times. They laughed heartily.

Liam declined to comment when asked about a potential reunion while making an appearance at a boxing fight.

Some fans however are speculating this could be related to Selena Gomez.

It happens soon after Selena Gomez, who just declared herself single, put an end to romance rumors between the two. Zayn and the singer of the hit song "Calm Down," 30, were the subject of intense dating rumors earlier this year.
