The "Hips Don't Lie" singer is having a renaissance in her career by releasing the recent chart-topping hits "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53" with DJ Bizarrap, and "Monotonia" with Ozuna.
She is about to add a third chart-topping hit to the list, and it's called "Copa Vacia," featuring Manuel Turizo.
According to reports, it seems likely that the upcoming single will be another diss track directed at her ex, Gerard Pique.
Shakira Disses Gerard Pique
"Copa Vacia" translates to empty cup, which probably alludes to her past relationship with the father of her two sons.
A portion of the song's lyrics have been unveiled: "You are always busy with so much business/ You would do my love a little leisure/ relax here on the sofa and give me your attention
"You don't have to be a poet to sweeten my ear/ let go of the phone, use your hand with me/ I know you are good, but I am better."
Another telling lyric that comes from the forthcoming song goes like this: "I've been thirsty for you for a while now, I don't know why, I've been wanting more and wanting to drink from an empty cup."
As of this writing, Shakira has announced that "Copa Vacia" will be released on June 29, 8 p.m. EST.
The reason why Shakira has so many diss tracks directed at Pique under her sleeve is because of how betrayed she felt when he cheated on her with a 22-year-old who interned in his office.
The "She Wolf" singer traded in her life in Spain for Los Angeles, where she now currently resides. Not only was it so she could distance herself from her ex and his mother but also because of the ongoing tax fraud trial against her.

Shakira Moves On with Lewis Hamilton
These days, Shakira is enjoying her time with F1 racer Lewis Hamilton. The pair were spotted having dinner after the Spanish Grand Prix, and several times after that.
According to reports, Shakira and Hamilton are heading out to the Caribbean together, which was revealed by none other than journalist, Jordi Martin.
"Hamilton and Shakira are planning to go on holiday together and I already know the destination," he said. "It's a Caribbean country, a short trip of about an hour."
