One of the victims who survived the Beyond Wonderland shooting incident launched a GoFundMe page to help himself cover his treatments.

The Beyond Wonderland music festival day 1 witnessed a mass shooting that left two people dead and three others injured. The suspect who opened fire at the crowd has since been arrested, but the survivors of the fatal shooting are still yet to get proper treatment.

Beyond Wonderland Survivor Launches GoFundMe Page

A survivor who attended the festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Saturday created a GoFundMe page to support his treatment for the gunshot wound he sustained.

The 31-year-old concertgoer, Andrew "August" Cuadra, appeared in an interview with Source ONE News and detailed what happened at the event and how he sustained his injury. He revealed that he was shot while at the Gate H general campground, suffering from a gunshot wound after a bullet entered his left shoulder and exited his collarbone.

Cuadra was reportedly looking for one of his friends so they could watch the first set at Beyond Wonderland when he heard a girl saying something. When he turned around, he saw a "muscular male wearing a black t-shirt" who had a handgun.

"I turned around and walked in the other direction," he said. "And then I heard say, 'you don't have to do this' and I turned around saw her again but closer and then the shooter popped out of nowhere and shot me."

According to the GoFundMe page, the survivor went out of the venue and visited different hospitals that could help him with his wound, but he is still waiting to undergo surgery at a hospital in Seattle.

The page set $20,000 in donations as its goal, and it has $22,134 from 923 donors as of press time which will be used to cover his medical expenses.

Beyond Wonderland Shooting Suspect Arrested

In a Facebook post, the Grant County Sheriff's Office detailed that it arrested the suspect who reportedly started the mass shooting at around 8:20 p.m. It also said that it would release the name of the victims within the next few days while it is still looking into the suspect's motive behind the tragic incident.

Kyle Foreman, the representative of the office, said that the authorities and officers responded to the venue after receiving calls that shots were fired into the crowd while the Beyond Wonderland was underway.
