Heads up, Wildcats! This summer is about to go down because the "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" Season 4 teaser just dropped and we have a lot to unpack!
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that a bunch of the original "High School Musical" cast will be returning, including Corbin Bleu, who already appeared in Season 3, Lucas Grabeel, who already appeared in Season 1, and Monique Coleman, who's making her first appearance this season, among many others! East High Takes On HSM 3: Senior Year
Every season, the East High Drama Department takes on a new musical to do. In the first season, it was 'HSM 1'; In Season 2, it was Beauty and The Beast; In Season 3, Camp Shallow Lake took on Frozen: The Musical; now, East High is finishing it off with 'HSM 3.'
In the 'HSMTMTS' Season 4 Teaser, it would seem like three songs from the last movie will be used, including a Dara Renee, Frankie Rodriguez Duet of "I Want It All," a "Now Or Never" production, and the "High School Musical" finale number.
The OG Cast is Back!
Bart Johnson (Coach Jack Bolton), Zac Efron's father in the original movies, will be returning this year. In the show, he announced that "High School Musical 4: The Reunion," will be shot again at the walls of East High.
Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), who played Vanessa Hudgens' best friend, will also be returning. Alyson Reed (Ms. Darbus) also makes a comeback. Meanwhile, Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans) and Kaycee Stroh (Martha Cox), who both appeared in Season 1, including Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth) who was a guest actor in Season 3, also return this season.
Last year, Zac Efron (Troy Bolton) and Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez) posted a video returning to the set, but it was never confirmed or denied if they will be included in the reunion. Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay Evans) was also not announced if she would be returning.

Shallow Lake Campers Are Back!
Sibling Duo Adrian Lyles (Jet) and Saylor Bell (Maddox) returns this year after a successful stint last season. Liamani Segura (Emmy) seemed to also be included in the main cast this season as seen in the trailer.
Matt Cornett (EJ Caswell) also returns this season but his role in the musical and the show might be reduced given the fact that he already graduated and is already in college.
Notably, Joshua Bassett (Ricky Bowen), Sofia Wylie (Gina Porter), Dara Renee (Kourtney Greene), Frankie Rodriguez (Carlos Rodriguez), and Tony-nominated Actress Julia Lester (Ashlyn Caswell), are the main leads this year. Larry Saperstein (Big Red) and Joe Serafini (Seb-Matthew Smith) also return as recurring cast, and so does Kate Reinders (Ms. Jen).
