Blake Shelton, after 23 seasons of being on the show, has finally departed his Coach Chair, which literally shook things up for the beloved reality singing competition.

The Double Coach Chair is simple, a celebrity/singer/musician duo will serve as one unit in coaching their selected contestants of the show. Over the course of the show's 23 seasons, all coaches have been solo in undertaking the incredible feat of acting as coaches.

"Incoming: 2024 Coaches !!! double chair!!! epic lineup!!! stay tuned!!!" the tweet read.

Aside from the fact that the total count of coaches on the panel would be increased to five, the banner that says "I Want You" will be especially replaced with "We Want You."

As of this writing, nothing has been set in stone yet on who will fill in the double coaches' chair. In other franchises of the show internationally, the Double Coaches Chair has been prominent and has appeared from time to time in various seasons and countries.

Currently, the "The Voice" Season 24 Coaches lineup are Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan. Horan won last season in his first year as a coach.

As Shelton departed the show, he also left a huge void for Country music in the show. Thankfully, Queen of Country Reba McEntire was there to fill it! Interestingly, McEntire was the first choice on Season 1, but she declined, resulting in Shelton taking the seat.

"The first time I ever heard of The Voice, I saw the tape from Holland's [version of the show]. They asked me to do it, and I turned it down," she recalled. "But I think timing is everything. It all worked out for it to work now. I think I'll be a better mentor to help the kids out more."
