Blake Shelton Details Plan After 'The Voice'

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Blake Shelton said that he would finally want that time away from work and to focus on new things.

"I want to finally have the opportunity to say yes to more stuff in my personal life," he told the outlet, "and not say, 'Let me check,' or just flat-out no."

In October 2022, Shelton announced his departure from the series after Season 23!

Shelton is stepping up on the stepfather role as he becomes a more involved and present stepfather to Gwen Stefani's three kids.

"I think being a stepdad has changed my perspective in that I'm not the first person that I think about anymore. Even to the small little things when you go, 'I think I'll do this,' the very next thought is always,'Well, wait a minute. How's that going work?' Or, 'What will they think?' Or, 'How will that affect a schedule?'" he told Access Hollywood back then.

However, the dynamics in the Shelton-Stefani household will be changing in the coming months too as Stefani returns as a judge on Season 24 of "The Voice" after leaving Season 22. She would be accompanied by returning judges John Legend and Niall Horan.

Aside from Stefani, a familiar face is also returning to "The Voice."
