Ever since Sir Paul McCartney confirmed that the Beatles would be releasing a new album this year that would include John Lennon's voice using the power of artificial intelligence, many fans became excited as they haven't heard any new material from the band for decades.

However, the musician recently shared a statement to clarify the whole debacle behind modern technology's usage in the new project.

Taking to his official Instagram stories, the legendary English singer began his post by saying that it has been great to see "such exciting response" regarding the new Beatles project and no one is more excited than any of the fans than them to be dropping something new this 2023.

"We cleaned up some existing recordings - a process which has gone on for years," he noted.

The Beatles AI Album: John Lennon's Voice to be Featured Using Modern Technology?

The recent statement comes a week after Paul McCartney spoke in an interview and confirmed that a new Beatles album is on the way and it would feature John Lennon's voice.

Although it's impossible to feature the late legend as he had been deceased for decades, the musician said they used artificial intelligence to "extricate" his good pal's voice in order to complete a song.

The Guardian reported that the track could possibly be a track titled "Now and Then" which was from 1978. It was one of the songs on the cassettes labeled "For Paul" that the late singer created before his tragic passing in 1980.

However, McCartney has yet to share full details regarding the album and which song would feature Lennon's voice if ever the AI addition would push through.
