Mac Miller's second album "Watching Movies with the Sound Off," is celebrating its 10th anniversary and for the momentous occasion, the rapper's estate made a big move by releasing a special edition of the record as well as new songs.
According to People Magazine, the late musician's estate collaborated with his former label Rostrum Records to celebrate the first decade of the rapper's sophomore album.
To give the album a fresh twist, they gave it new album art as well as a specific tracklist complete with new songs that the public has never heard of before.
Some of the latest renditions of the song are the original version of the opening track "The Star Room." Rolling Stone reported that the first one never made it to the final cut but was shared on his SoundCloud in 2014.
The song is now completely different from what longtime fans have heard before as it has a different beat and didn't feature the rapper's alter ego named Delusional Thomas.

In addition to releasing the latest version, an animated visualizer was also uploaded online created by director Danae Gosset.
Speaking with the outlet, she explained that the visuals revolve around an open-minded character that navigates the world that discovers different things and evolves every step of the way.

"The storyline begins and ends with a candid embryo-like character, showcasing their growth and transformation through diverse landscapes and encounters," she further discussed.
The director added that her goal in creating the video was to capture the essense of "a transformative journey" while combining it with a "childlike curiosity" as the character explores different dimensions.

For those who wanted to hear the entire album, the 10th anniversary edition is now available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
It will also be available for pre-order in physical vinyl records, which feature an exclusive bonus track titled "The Quest."
